An orange sky
Marks our civilisation
Indicates how we die
A helpless one-dayfly

Sour rain gives us some precision
Gives us the reason why
Doesn’t make us step in line
Doesn’t make us realise

Grey smoke tells us why
We should look up into the sky
But only after we blew it out

Does smoke kill?
Does life kill?
Are we killing life?

A birthday card should carry a message
Life kills, life can cause serious injury to you brains,
life endangers your sperm, your doctor can help you get rid of life easily

This is what I wrote that evening of my last journal. I came to dislike it but I think it's worth a deviation

'Nebulous' is the first word I think of about this poem - there's little to anchor to. An exploration of perspective, methinks. I like the sky, smoke and rain metaphors. :) :bulletblue:
